During my recent whirlwind trip through Europe, I found myself at Hotel Kotyza, a charming stop that turned out to be the highlight of our two-week adventure. Nestled conveniently near the D1 highway, it provided the perfect balance of accessibility and tranquility-once inside, you wouldn't have known how close we were to the bustling road. My fiancée and I were delighted with our spacious, well-appointed room that exuded old-world charm yet felt perfectly cared for, which is a rarity these days. We were fortunate enough to have a balcony overlooking the quaint square, where we enjoyed an exceptional dinner featuring local and seasonal delicacies from the hotel's renowned restaurant. The steaks were standouts-rich, delicious, and sourced from quality farms-perfect for anyone who shares my passion for great food. Breakfast the next morning was equally wonderful, with a spread that was hard to resist. As a couple who often travel with our beloved dog, it was a treat to discover that Hotel Kotyza offered pet amenities, making it an ideal spot for furry companions. With friendly, helpful staff and a lovely garden terrace to soak up the sun, we couldn't have asked for a better spot for a mini getaway. I can't wait to return and discover more of the lovely sights surrounding Humpolec!
